Today's edition of "Mouthy preacher's wife who shouldn't have an opinion" :)

I have not said much about the ChickFilA controversy. In fact, I am pretty tired of hearing the many arguements. I will put in my 2 cents worth one time though. I am proud of the company's Christian values; however, our main purpose as Christians is to LOVE one another. How have we lost sight of that? I think that many things have been taken out of context regarding this issue. Many people think there is no gray area. I have ALWAYS supported ChickFilA. But now the world tells me that if I support the company, I am a hater. And if I don't support it, I am not a true Christian. So let me say this. I will continue to support ANY company with true Christian values. I will stand up for what I believe in, but not in a way that is at the expense of hurting others or to risk winning over new souls to the Kingdom of God. So to my fellow Christians, if you are at ChickFilA today and encounter the "kiss-in", think about what Jesus would do. Think about the harm that can so easily be done to a delicate soul. Don't yell obscenities or criticisms. We are called to be Christ-like and LOVE as Christ LOVES us! Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35

Beautifully put, Alicia! I completely agree. We are called to LOVE! We must always be aware of this. When we say we're Christians, our life is an open book for others to see. WE are truly, a walking testimony. The devil has ways of turning things around if allowed. We, as Christians, have to STAND together in LOVE....
